The longest kitesurfing race returns to Australia

Lighthouse to Leighton Kitesurfing Race: 19 kilometres of kite lines

The longest kitesurfing race held in Australia will take from Rottnest Island, on the 15th December, 2012.

The Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton Kitesurfing Race is designed so that spectators can witness all the action from the sand.

Riders will take off from Rottnest Island, in the afternoon, when the wind is up, and spectators are invited to Leighton Beach to watch them race into the finish line and chase the record time of 24 minutes.
