Supercross.com joins with TORC (The Off-Road Championship)

Traxxas TORC series, presented by Amsoil, is an off road truck racing series. TORC is the abbreviated form of "The Off Road Championship", which is the fastest, most punishing short course racing series on the planet.

Supercross.com is pleased to announce it has joined with TORC in 2012 and beyond. This partnership covers a multitude of areas, including on-site, digital, television, mobile, social and more.

This new partnership will allow both TORC, and Supercross.com, to further their support for fans and the racing culture, both at the events, and thru the entertainment and information mediums of web, on-site, mobile, TV, social, and more. The aim is to take both to a new level, and connect with race fans on a level never done before.

TORC events are packed with flag-to-flag fender banging as drivers push the limits over whoop and jump filled natural terrain racetracks. Off-road racing fans come from far and wide to experience this most challenging form of high-octane competition and once they taste TORC for the first time they'll be hooked for life. Rick Johnson is the defending Pro 4 class champion. You'll see the 2012 schedule below, along with TV info.

President Kevin Miller of USAC (United States Auto Club) says "Traxxas TORC is one of the most exhilarating and exciting race series in the world. We are extremely proud to be associated with TORC, and that relationship fits right into what we also do with Silver Crown, Sprint Car, Midget, Ignite, and .25 Midgets. We think TORC fans are some of the very best racing fans in the world. We take a lot of pride in offering our fans the very best."

Matt Cook, principal of Supercross.com media platforms, and driver/owner of the Supercross.com truck teams says “We are pleased to move forward in this new relationship with Traxxas TORC. The Supercross.com Off Road Truck Race Team is going to be racing at all the TORC events this season, and will be set-up to sell merchandise, interact and educate fans, and share all the excitement of what we do with the fans. You will see an increased branding and entertainment level that we know the fans will enjoy."

Supercross.com is already well known in digital form as a web platform. Plans call for a newly developed web-site, along with new mobile offerings, increased social media, and on-site engagement. Additionally, TV will be added into the mix.
