Jensen wins in Poland
Michael Jesper Jensen moved a little closer to his dream of winning the FIM Under-21 title with an emphatic win in Final 4 at Tarnow on Saturday. Beaten only by Ukrainian, Aleksandr Loktaev when they met, he also set the fastest time of the meeting in Heat 7.Local favourite and current champion, Maciej Janowski, encouraged by some 4500 fans finished on 13 points but lost out in a run-off for second place against Patryk Dudek when he suffered an engine failure. He retains his second place in the intermediate classification, four points behind the leader.Denmark's other contender Mikkel Busk Jensen had an unhappy night finishing with only 6 points and down to 4th place in the current standings.PlaceTotal1Michael J Jensen (Denmark)512Maciej Janowski (Poland)473Przemyslaw Pawlicki (Poland)434Mikkel B Jensen (Denmark)405Mikkel Michelsen (Denmark)346Patryk Dudek (Poland)307Bartosz Zmarzlik (Poland)298Tobiasz Musielak (Poland)259Aleksandr Loktaev (Ukraine)2410Nicklas Porsing (Denmark)24 Injury could well have a bearing on the final results with Dudek and Porsing both having missed one round and Zmarzlik ruled out for the rest of the season.
