France's Renet takes early overall lead
When it comes to debut performances at the FIM International Six Days Enduro few have come close to delivering a result as impressive as France's World Trophy team rider Pela Renet. Never before competing in the ISDE prior to this year's event the current FIM Enduro 2 World Championship leader made light work of the opening day's special tests in Germany and topped the overall results by ten seconds.Faced with six long and demanding special tests Renet kept his cool to end the day as the fastest outright performer, playing an important role in helping France establish a commanding lead in the FIM World Trophy category."It was a very good day for me," explained the reserved, but pleased Renet after impounding his bike in parc fermé. "The first day is always important at the ISDE. I hope that I can continue as I have started, but there is a long way to go before we get to the end of the race. The enduro tests were very technical, there were lots of tree roots in the forest, so you had to be a little cautious in places. I'm pleased I got a good result for the French team."Communication G2F Media - www.g2fmedia.com -
